July Garden Update

July Garden Update

Wow, how much bigger are all the plants!

I might have eaten all the radishes, but I now have a steady supply of kale, chard and lettuce. The strawberries are already onto round two, and their runners divided for repotting. The first of the beans and peas are swelling in their pods and the broccoli is coming along solidly. Birds and bees abound, thanks to the flowering honeysuckle, the wildflowers and sweetpeas, and the feeder on the clothes line. The wormery disposes of all the food waste with ever increasing efficiency. The tomatoes are still green on the vine, but if this amazing weather holds I'm sure they won't be for long (in fact the only negative is the increased number of runs I've got to do with the watering can!).
